There are 100s of known People in our surroundings who are living the same life. Some of them even care for us, but still, we cannot show them our emotions! That's how we are moving towards loneliness!

Being Alone and Feeling Lonely are two different things!

An alone person is not always lonely. And a lonely Person is not always alone.

What is Loneliness?

Loneliness is a silent epidemic affecting people of all ages, sexes, and backgrounds. The loss of a loved one, social isolation, or a significant gap in the relationship can cause it.

Living alone can also lead to loneliness. Studies show that living alone increases the risk of isolation and depression by as much as 50%.

Loneliness is linked to various health problems, from depression to heart disease.

When a person is Alone

There is a Physical gap, or a Physical Presence gap, which might or might not be disturbing the mental or emotional state of the Person.

Instead, it can be peaceful. A person can be alone, but still, he may feel self-sufficient and most potent.

For example,

The last few years have seen an increasing number of people living alone. It is partly because of delaying marriage for one or more reasons.

One of the significant reasons is Career, and another can be additional responsibilities!

When a person is Lonely?

Psychologically, emotionally, and mentally, a person feels lonely when they feel left out and excluded. There can be several reasons behind this.

There is a void inside the Person because of an emotional gap.

A Person can even feel lonely, despite the Presence of 100s of People in the surrounding. Also, people often feel lonely when surrounded by family members, loved ones, or even at home.

Why it is important to understand

That being Alone and Feeling Lonely are two different things!

It is essential to be aware of the risk of loneliness because it can lead to depression and other mental health problems. It disturbs psychological condition, with unexpected hurting & suffering!

It's not a disease. You were not borne lonely. It's just a mental, Emotional, and Psychological Condition.

Some of the significant reasons behind your loneliness can be:

  • The lack of empathy in your surrounding,

  • Often people do not respect your opinion,

  • Those people never try to understand the way you have been attempting to understand them.
